After ending his contract with Atlético de Madrid on June 30, Juanfran Torres already has a new destination: the Brazilian Sao Paulo, a team for which he has committed until December 2020, according to São Paulo club' s website.
The right-back will play with Dani Alves, signing that the club itself made official yesterday after ending his contract with the PSG at the end of June and who signed for the next three campaigns. Juanfran had an offer from the MLS, the Chicago Fire, which has the former Athletic Veljko Paunovic as a coach, although Juanfran has finally opted for the Brazilian football Club offer.
This way, he ends a nine years phase as a rojiblanco, in which he has played 355 games and has won seven titles.
