Borja Iglesias, Real Betis Balompie's new player

Real Betis Balompié pays the amount of the termination clause to RCD Espanyol for Borja Iglesias. That way, the Galician striker becomes the fifth reinforcement of the Club of the Thirteen Bars for the 2019/2020 season. Borja Iglesias signs a contract with the green and white club until 2024.
Borja Iglesias Quintás (Santiago de Compostela, January 17, 1993) began his training as a footballer in Valencia FC academy. In 2010 he joined the discipline of Villarreal FC academy, where he spent three years, including the transfer to CD Roda. In 2013 he returned to his native Galicia to join the second team of RC Celta de Vigo, making his debut with the first team in 2015. In the 2017/2018 season, he was transferred to Real Zaragoza, in Second Division, where he made a great season. The following year, RCD Espanyol enlisted him, team where the new green and white player played last season and scored 17 goals and distributed three assists.
In total, Borja Iglesias has played 222 matches in high-level football, in which he has scored 116 goals and distributed 11 assists.
